The property itself is magical, both the setting and the rooms. Our welcome was exceptional and every single interaction with staff was personable and professional. A truly memorable experience. Dined at all the restaurants and had drinks at both lounges - all very lovely experiences.

Highly recommend this hotel. All the facilietes are great. Comfy bedroom and aproperly cleaned bathroom. They have a rooftop restaurant overlooking the golden fort of Jaisalmer. Food is delicious. This palace hotel, a reincarnation of the royal mahals of Jaipur, is located in tranquil environs away from the hustle and bustle of the city. From our first experience with the absolutely fantastic Akash, who is just so professional and yet sincere and polite (which is the ultimate combination of qualities). Along with the restaurant manager Ajay who again made my family and I so welcome and assisted us at EVERY opportunity, what a fantastic team. Also Lalit who was very attentive during breakfast. First, the hotel is everything you could ask for- a huge room,, a comfortable bed, hot water when you need it, thick walls, fantastic location near the fort or market. However, the reason you should stay here is for Michael- he has the kindest soul. He made us feel like we were at home. He's so happy to help you with anything you could need. This isn't help for a commission/baksheesh, this is help because he loves travelers of all kinds. Really, I can promise you that you won't regret staying here for one second. Also, the view at night is the best in the city;)
