Located 20 km from Müritz national park, this hotel offers bicycle rentals to explore the surrounding nature areas. Landhotel Zur Schmiede provides country-style rooms with a private bathroom. Room was nice and spacious and warm. Clean as well. We are very tall so the bed was regular size but then a bit small but this is more our problem. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Diner in the restaurant was nice Breakfast was just what we were looking for

This hotel is set on spacious and well-kept parkland on a peninsula directly on the Tiefwarensee Lake. The hotel is an historical building, you have direct access to lake and possible to do some hiking there. City center is just 10 minutes walk, staff is very nice and professional.
