Firstly staff were exceptional, from lady we met on our late arrival on our first night & exceptionally really nice, friendly & helpful guy that looked after us at breakfast & staff who looked after us for dinner - 10 out of 10 to them all. Our room was very comfortable & clean & very good value too

The staff was flexible on the check-in time, the room was absolutely beautiful and the bed super comfortable. The toiletries were good too -- high quality. The location is perfect, right next to the Turner Contemporary and late night pubs. The decoration was modern and vibrant.

I cannot fault the Five Bells and I dream of the day I get to go back. Everything from start to finish was pure heaven and the staff were very attentive, professional and kind. I highly recommend booking wine tasting at Brabourne Vineyard - a very short walk away, and then back for dinner at the Five Bells. They have thought of everything from luxury toiletries to games in the room. We had the best time and I really cannot wait to return! The facilities were clean, it was peaceful and I slept like a baby!

Staff excellent even sorted us out a delivery Indian meal. Rooms great and the welcome we received was also fabulous. 20 mins from Dover so handy for the ferry to Calais. Community pub so we were lucky as it was quiz night.

Bathroom was very nice too. We really appreciated the welcoming with brownies, fresh milk and hot chocolate in our room. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the stay.

New Flying Horse Inn ligger i et posthus fra det 17. århundrede med egetræsbjælker og skinnende messing. From the moment we walked in we new we had booked the right place. Was greeted by Nikita who was positively wonderful. She was a star. We had phoned ahead and booked a table for dinner. The room was amazing. We took our two dogs and they welcomed them too. The atmosphere was relaxing and we felt right at home. Nothing was to much for them. Dinner was also amazing and the waitress again was an absolute angel. The dogs were also brought some treats whilst they sat with us. The legend Nathan was again on hand he was chatty and good fun to be around. The beds were so comfy and having a choice of a shower and bath in the morning was excellent The whole team at the New flying horse must work really hard as the rooms were immaculate. Even down to a nice little gift of tea cakes left in our room by the house keeping staff I can’t thank them all enough for the most relaxing and pleasurable stay x
