This little place was a hidden gem I am so glad to have discovered in Chicoutimi. After some unfortunate events, I found myself alone in the city without a place to sleep for the night. I was searching for a room available nearby when I came across this quaint and inexpensive advert! When I arrived, it was pretty straight forward and I was able to find my room fairly quickly. The photos do not lie; this place is absolutely adorable, clean, and incredibly well-decorated. I was so impressed by the Balcon Blanc for charging such a reasonable and fair price, for a room and private bathroom which exceeds most chain hotel standards. Located on the shores of Lake Saint-Jean, this hotel in St-Gédéon, Quebec features kayak rentals, an on-site spa and seasonal restaurant. Simple guest rooms include cable TV. The staff is very friendly. The facilities were all clean. My child had a really great time at the play room they have. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and spa. It also worth mentioning the restaurant. They served really delicious high-end dishes. The whole stay was just amazing. Great views of the lake. We will definitely come back here next time!
