It is close to the main station, and the facilities are excellent. The staff was really friendly, they offered tips on what to see around the area, and made an effort to make small talk with me in japanese even though I only speak the language a little. There's a rooftop with amazing views of mount Fuji where you can relax and enjoy your meals/drinks, and you can rent their foldable bikes for free to visit the surrounding lakes.... Oh, and did I mention the free snacks? You get free snacks... Everything was amazing :)

Objekat HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA, koji se nalazi u gradu Fudžikavagučiko, na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Jezero Kawaguchi, nudi smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom i zajedničkim salonom. The host Michi was extremely friendly, funny and flexible (and very accommodating)! Exploring Kawaguchiko and getting to its attractions (onsens, hikes, caves, etc.) without a car and only using public buses is not so easy, but Michi gave lots of good suggestions on how one could do so. The common area and the garden was very beautiful (see the photo attached!)

The view of Mt.Fuji from window is fantastic! Staff was nice and friendly. Worth your money for sure!

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. The host is super great. I will definitely come back here if I have another visit to Mt Fuji.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. I stayed in the dormitory, where i was given a futon and a night lamp. I went in April, which is a pleasant weather, and the room was well insulated. Everything was really clean. They even had a few desks where i could work during midday. And there's a delicious South Indian restaurant (南インドカレー カリアムドゥ) next door!

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. The staff was very friendly, even though we arrived late at 10:30. It is not normal to arrive that late, as there is no more public transportation that late, but it was not a problem. The woman was very kind and explained everything.

Best hostel I’ve stayed at. Spacious rooms, great staff, free bikes, comfy beds, great showers. Would definitely come back

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. We stayed in a beautiful twin room which was roomy enough for luggage, a small table and chairs. It included a full bathroom with a tub shower. The lounge area was comfortable and pleasant to hang out in. The kitchen facilities were comfortable enough so that someone could make simple meals for themselves. We traveled to the area by bus, and the bus stop was adjacent to the hostel. Just be careful watching the bus schedule, early and late times are not available. The location was terrific. We had great views of Fujisan, an enjoyable garden area along the lake, and miles of walking or biking path.

Objekat TOCORO. Mt.Fuji Station HOSTEL Kawaguchiko je smešten u gradu Fudžikavagučiko, na 2,2 km od znamenitosti Fujikyu Highland, a u ponudi ima klimatizovane smeštajne jedinice i bar. We loved our stay at Tocoro, staff was super friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. So, the bathrooms and shower rooms were Amazing! Defenitely a Place to reccomend for an enjoyable stay near Fuji-san area. Grazie!!
