Opened in May 2016, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. Had a nice stay here for two nights, good location if you want to visit Mt. Fuji. It's not too far from Mt. Fuji station so you can easily get to the bus that takes you to the 5th station, even if you want to go very early. The facilities were nice and clean. The host was super helpful and friendly, helped with any queries I had or any information I needed. Will stay here again when I next visit the area.

The owner is very nice woman and the rooms and bathroom was perfectly clean 👌😎

I only spent two nights, I wanted to stay longer, but the guesthouse was already full on the dates I wanted. It was an invigorating experience, what a nice, cozy place. I had the breakfast they make, it delicious, if you like japanese food I recommend it. Everyone is very friendly, especially Imuzo and his brother (unfortunately I didn't ask his name). Yudai, Daichi and Yuka are very friendly and helpful, always ready to help and offer the best experience for guests. I will recommend it to all my friends who come to visit Mount Fuji one day.
