Just a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station, Hostel Cuore Kurashiki is located in a historic Bikan district in Kurashiki. Each guest room features unique design and stylish interior. Amazing location in the Historical quarter. The service from the man who greeted me was very warm. This was the highest quality accommodation I stayed in out of the 10 hotels i visited in Japan. The bathroom was incredible, having a washing machine was so handy & the space in the room was perfect. There was even a mini projector you can plug a USB into to project onto the wall. The building was an annex but if you go back over to the main building, there is a bar with some very nice food. I'd suggest the Teriyaki pizza.

Located in Tamano, Machicado features a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Friendly informative staff. Easy to socialise if you want. Great town to explore from/ in. Quiet even in the dorms. Great to be able to leave your bags and head off for the day. Uno, the islands and area were the highlight of our trip.

Located in Kurashiki and with Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park reachable within 16 km, DENIM HOSTEL float provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Stunning location, beautiful views of the sea from my room. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, as was the lasagne that they serve for dinner. Everything was very clean. Only 500 metres from JR Okayama Station’s west exit, Kamp Houkan-cho Backpacker's Inn & Lounge’s features a café with a live stage for DJs and other artists. Cooking tools and kitchen availavle. Reasonable and comfortable bed/room.

Kikusui Ryokan ligger en 8-minutters spasertur fra JR Uno jernbanestasjon og 5 minutters gange unna Uno havn, hvor du kan ta ferge over til Naoshima og de andre øyene i nærheten. Nice and clean. We arrived late and we had no issues checking in. The location is super convenient for getting the ferry to nearby islands!

Set in Maniwa, within 22 km of Shoka Museum Ikegamitei and 23 km of Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake, 北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the... I think it must be a very nice place in summer, but I was there on a snowing day and it was very cold inside the building. Going out for the toilet or to the shower room was a bit painful for me! But the bedroom was warm and the futon very comfortable. The owner was nice and helpful.

HIBARI HOUSE is located a 10-minute drive from Okayama Station, from where guests can reach Hiroshima Station in 40 minutes by train and Shin-Osaka Station in 50 minutes.
