Located in just a minute's walk from JR Bungo-Taketa Station, Taketa Ekimae Hostel cue is a renovated wooden accommodation. A garden and terrace are offered for guests' interaction. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. Me and my wife absolutely loved staying at this traditional Japanese house. And although traditional, the house is very well renovated, comfortable, and clean. The room was cosy, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I intend to return to Taketa while travelling around Kyushu and I will definitely stay again at this Hostel Cue!

Despite the location is a bit far from the train station, it didn't bother me since they drove me to the station. Very clean and cosy place and good amenities.

I love this place. near station and town. you can walk around and use private onsen with limit 30mins. But it is enough. old ladies who take care here is very nice. have really good sleep here.

Location was great and room was very comfy. We love the Japanese style ryokan. The facility also has its own onsen and laundromat machines so everything was quite convenient.
