Moses is a wonderful personable and caring host - super attentive without being overbearing at all. I was really unwell when I arrived at Zigzag and Moses was incredibly kind, checking in if I needed anything, offering advice and letting me check out late.

At the hostel, each room has a wardrobe. Guest rooms include bed linen. This has been the best hostel I've ever stayed in. It's the perfect balance of relaxation, partying and a family atmosphere. The moment I walked in the door, I was met by Ranjeeti and Abhi who got me checked in and my vaccine info confirmed. Noticing I had a long travel, they offered to let me sleep before finishing things up when I awoke, which was honestly incredibly appreciated. They have family dinners most nights which are made by the volunteers/staff and are always amazing. I stayed for quite awhile here and therefore got to know the staff quite well. Abhi, Ranjeeti and Deepak were always incredible to have around and honestly made my stay there. There is not a doubt in my mind that I will stay at Madsquad hostel in my travels again. Thank you for making Varanasi more of an enjoyable experience than I could have ever hoped for.
