You can read about the noise of the busy street, cold water showers, no curtains, etc. and decide for yourself! There is refill drinking water and a lovely cafe at the lower floor where you can order food, or eat your outside food. Dany is a coffee expert and will be able to teach you a lot about this local bean grown throughout Indonesia. More than suitable simple stay for a few nights.

At the hostel rooms have bed linen and towels. I had a wonderful stay in snooze Ijen. I had booked a private room with shared bathroom. Location is good, the place is clean and is beautifully decorated, it has a very distinct Javanese feel to it. The common areas have a lovely atmosphere to hang around, there is a well-equipped kitchen for the guests to use. Wifi is good and there are lots of restaurants near by at walking distance. this place is great value for money. The best thing is the staff, the girls at the reception are very professional and helpful, they help out in organising trips/buying tickets/any other query about places to visit, they have an answer to every query/request and they are always smiling.
