Right alongside the River Lune in central Lancaster, this traditional pub serves real ales and hearty full English breakfast. We had a great one night stay en route from the North to London.

Beacon House Bunks is located in Bridlington, within 32 km of Scarborough Castle and 32 km of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. What a fantastic set up. Everything you need . Showers and kitchen immaculate with tea coffee milk juice supplied. The beds are very comfy. The owners are so nice and welcoming(so are their dogs). Will 200% stay here again.

Situated in Amble, within 16 km of Alnwick Castle and 38 km of Bamburgh Castle, Radcliffes Lodge features accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... Great location. Convenient, modern and very clean rooms. Well equipped facilities. Great view on the marina and yonder Warkworth castle from the common facilities (kitchen and dining room)

Boasting a shared lounge, Blue Room Hostel Newquay is set in the centre of Newquay, 500 metres from Tolcarne Beach. Owners were lovely. Prime location and nice comfy rooms. The whole place is fantastic. Parking available on request as well. Ended up staying an extra night to spend more time in the area. 10/10. Will be coming back on my next trip!

In the Lake District village of Elterwater, the independent Elterwater Hostel offers dormitories and private rooms, with a communal lounge and dining area. It was an amazing stay. Charlie the caretaker was a very nice lady. The rooms were super clean. The dorms were beautiful. The bathrooms were super clean and tidy as well. You can also cook your own meal in the self catering kitchen.

Less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Penrith, Wayfarers Independent Hostel provides comfortable accommodation to Lake District visitors. It's a great place perfect for cyclists doing the C2C ride - even a drying room for clothes.

Surrounded by lovely greenery in the heart of vibrant Keswick centre, YHA Keswick is just a 10-minute walk from Lake Derwentwater. It features a restaurant and self-catering kitchen. Kitchen excellent. Really welcoming on arrival

The Onefam Waterloo has a lively atmosphere as a social party hostel designed for young backpackers and solo travellers. Best hostel! These guys were all amazing in every way. Had an incredible time meeting everyone. Very social atmosphere and everyone was super cool. The manager dan was such a nice homie! The staff ollie, made, meg, ryan, olivia, julian, natalia, will, blake, maya y’all all made it so fun. Thanks everyone till next time 🙏🙏
