Perfect location, extremely clean room, nice facilities and they have Noura, the cheerful host! An hostel you won't regret staying.

Situated in Cairo, 400 metres from Tahrir Square, Champollion Hostel offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Loved it here. It's a hostel but only 5 rooms so a homey feel to it. Breakfast is complete with omlete, yogurt, fruit, buns, butter, cheese and jam. Water and coffee/tea available. All the staff are great and very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, short walk to Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. Hot showers, good wifi. The hostel will also book you day trips. We did a private tour of Giza, Saqqara and Dashur and asked for no shopping stops and got exactly what we asked for. Loved the elevator from the 1800s.

Manager Mahmoud was very helpful. We looked for the hotel and wandered another place and he came to pick us up after calling. Even 2 times...He was so kind and caring customers. Hotel room was very clean and fancy with Pyramid view. I could meet some lovely cat at the balcony and it was so special experience. Rooftop was fantastic, too. I definitely recommend this place and want to come again. Can't trust this price, beautiful place. Thank you.

So clean, very kind, polite staffs and owner, everything I loved it. Sometimes crazy people outside shouted and shot fireworks in midnight. Don't worry there is no war in Egypt, kind of a peaceful place.
