This finca is very nice. It’s in the middle of the forest. We stayed there two nights and they even cleaned the room. When we arrived late in the night the waited for us and brought us from Tayrona Square to the Finca. It’s a 15 minutes walk but very nice for a true experience in the nature. Food was good and in the finca the yard is awesome, spectacular plants and such a lovely cat, Musly. Staff is awesome, many thanks to Ruth for food and nice company!

Some rooms have a shared bathroom. I loved the food payment logistics. I don’t like to carry money while on vacations so I thought it was a great idea. I also loved the style and the people there. IMO the only type of hotel above 5 stars hotels is this type of hotel. Recommended for the people who enjoy the little things in life, those who find joy in the simple, those who know there are things money can’t buy.

The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International Airport, 36 km from the property. A perfect stay! Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the tent and it was just perfect. So relaxing and waking up to the sound of waves each morning was amazing. The tent wasn't too warm. You can get into the sea for a dip even though there is a no swimming sign. There is a good restaurant on the site that serves drinks and snacks also. The staff were very accomodating and the man working at reception had great English. Would definitely stay here again.

The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International Airport, 76 km from La Ponderosa Reserve. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Isolated paradise up in the mountains, definitely worth the 40 minutes Moto taxi. The fact it's a sustainable, zero waste, permaculture project makes your stay so much more meaningful. The communal meals have a great vibe and the food it's is absolutely incredible. Beautiful little river beach and so many adorable animals - dogs, cats, pigs, Barbara the goat. Good activities to do as well: tubing, permaculture tour, trip to indigenous village. Other guests were so lovely as the place attracts great people. I kept extending my stay and ended up there for ten days. 10/10 would recommend.
