Hostel Mallika is located in the Hiroshima City Centre district in Hiroshima, 400 metres from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 700 metres from Atomic Bomb Dome. Hostel Mallika features free WiFi throughout the property.

What a great place! Facilities are top notch. I booked a shared down to actually see that there was a door between the 2 areas, dividing males & females. Common areas were then shared for everyone. Beds were spacious and comfortable. There is a whole floor dedicated to kitchen / living / dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can make your own meals anytime. Bathrooms are clean and so are the shower. Amazing shower facilities with powder room. There are also washing machines and drying machines (working with coins, 100JPY). The lady running the hostel is incredibly sweet and speaks really good English. The hostel is located a few hundreds meters from the Peace Memorial Park & museums. Hiroshima train station is a couple of bus stops away and the bus stops about 200m from the entrance. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Hiroshima!

Opened in June 2017, Hiroshima Hostel EN is a hostel combined with an on-site restaurant. Located in the centre of Hiroshima, the property is a 3-minute walk away from JR Yokogawa Station, while JR Hiroshima Station is 2 stops away via train.

The vibe was really friendly. At night the guests got together and chatted, and they seem to have lots of events where you can meet locals, too. The lodgings are simple but very clean, and I felt like my stuff was totally safe.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Really great location for the main park and museum, need to take a tram from the main train station but that’s good fun. Hostel was busy which was a good sign and friendly staff. Had lots of good tourist info and were very flexible with me staying an extra day than planned

Quiet location all provide a safe in an area to lock up luggage. I would stay here again, and I recommend this hotel. Such a wonderful, comfortable room! The staff were lovely. SUper clean and a great location. We loved the little apartment-style setup. Beds were fantastically comfortable and huge -- with two bunk beds suspended over them via ladders. Couldn't be beaten for comfort, cleanliness and value for money!

The bunk beds were especially spacious. If you took the top bunk. The facilities were clean. The reception was extremely helpful. One of the places you'd want to visit in Hiroshima is Miyajima (Deer Island). If you didn't get the JR pass, you can buy a cheap day pass at the front. You can use it for both the ferry (Not the JR) and the rail cars. The lounge area is spacious and homey. Met some wonderful people here. The hostel is close to a railcar stop, and it's really close to the Peace Park.

Overall a good stay, and definitely good value for money. Location-wise, the guest house is at walking distance from Hiroshima main attractions. The room had a lot of bunk beds, it was reasonably clean given the amount of people sleeping in the room. Many showers and toilets around. I would recommend if you are traveling on a budget and are used to hostels.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Staff is suuuper nice, helpful, welcoming... Everything is so clean! Beds are comfortable. Big common area that's great for meeting people, there's always someone hanging out. Great for solo travellers. Nice rooftop. Location is really good, close to shopping street, bar street, convi's... But no noise in the hostel.
