What truly made my experience unforgettable was the unexpected invitation to join the host family for lunch. Sitting down with them, I was welcomed with open arms and treated to a delicious meal, giving me a glimpse into local hospitality and culture. It was an authentic and heartwarming experience that I will cherish forever. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for its warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, breathtaking views, and convenient location. It's the perfect choice for travelers seeking a memorable and immersive experience in this beautiful destination.

The building is so well looked after, and the room was spacious and clean and nicely decorated. The location is good - a quiet neighbourhood close to the waterfront and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hostess is extremely nice and welcoming. The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

Exceptional staff, a bit of language barrier but you get everything you would need, we have been provided very chesp transportation service to and from hotel, rooms were big and cool upon our arrival, modt amazing view of the city, delicious breakfast, tour information around city, laundry service and bikes for rent. Anything you would want host provided. Strongly recommend to get bikes to drive around since view around area is absolutely mind blowing.
