We were greeted by our lovely friendly hosts who showed us to our spacious room and gave us a bottle of complimentary water. There was a fridge where you could purchase drinks and pay on departure. Breakfast was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Guests could choose cereals and juice and then each table was served personally with a choice of wonderful meats and cheese with salads and boiled eggs as well. We were also given a bag and encouraged to take some rolls/fillings for our lunch which was such an unexpected gesture. Our hosts clearly love what they do and it shows. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or stay ourselves in future.

We used our stay as a night halt from southern Germany to Calais and it was ideal, although we would have liked longer! Margot, our host gave us a lovely welcome, the place is stunning, with beautiful views and in a great location, away from the many tourists in Bernkastel-Kues, yet close enough to walk in. we had the balcony room with a nice view. The property is located in a quiet area and not very far from the city Center. We could park our car on the property and bicycles in a garage next to the main entrance. The cleanliness of the rooms was ensured everyday by the land lady while we were eating our breakfast. She is a very friendly presence and made sure the breakfast is served in time. We would love to stay here again.
