It was clean and a nice place to stay.

Of the three weeks traveling around Ireland, this was the best shower we had. Great water pressure, plenty hot, big enough to move around in and didn't leak water all over the bathroom floor! The only thing that would make it better is a shelf to put your soap/shampoo/razor on rather than the floor. The room was cozy but not too tight. Had full control of the heat so could turn it off! A couple snacks and tea/coffee provided with a kettle and toaster.

Karen was very friendly and came to meet us at the door. They even provided milk and water. If you’re into hiking, it’s a close drive to Mt Errigal. It’s also a stones throw from Wild Ireland. I’ll definitely stay again!

The house and setting is stunning. There were Holsteins grazing outside our window. The hosts are very thoughtful and accommodating; breakfast is plentiful; all clean and quiet. We didn’t rent a car so friends dropped us off there. Twice the host gave us rides into Derry. We took a taxi back on Saturday night. The taxi driver had no trouble finding it, and it was inexpensive.

Donegal County Museum is 34 km away and The Diamond is less than 1 km from the guest house. This an outstanding accommodation! If you have the good fortune to find an open booking, stop your search and reserve a room. Although there is no dedicated parking, if you arrive after five, you can park right in front of Georgian Townhouse or at least a few steps away in the street. Once parked, car can stay until you leave at no charge. If you arrive before 5, there is plenty of car park parking nearby. Just look at pictures on line. Townhouse is impeccably newly renovated. Eileen is an artist with a great sense of color and space. This was by far our best accommodation. It’s just a short walk into the city. Bed was REALLY comfy, shower and tub top notch. What can I say, if I could find a spot like this in every city, I might not stop traveling. Also, incredible value for money Eileen is lovely!
