The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Delightful. Very clean. Comfortable. complimentary afternoon tea. Breakfast fabulous. Staff incredibly helpful and attentive.

Just outstanding! Room was huge and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also great with good water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was wonderful, the breakfast room is just great. Walking through the castle gardens when regular visitors have left is very relaxing.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Situated in Scarborough and only 14 km from Peasholm Park, The Wood Cottage features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a truly wonderful stay. The Cottage and the room are fanstastic and very comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all amenities. The new bathroom with a jacuzzi and a balcony with a table and chairs were a nice addition. The hosts were so nice and really kind, we loved chatting with them during breakfast and when we were coming back from hikes. The Cottage is conveniently located close to Scarborough, Whitby, and North York Moors National Park - a perfect spot for everyone willing to explore the area and have a relaxing evening after a long day.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Chestnut Tree Cottage, 7 High Street offers accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi. Lovely place very conviennent to Gatwick airport. Nice village with lots to do nearby. Great hosts!
