I would give more stars but the room was soooo hot, unbearable hot!! 17th of May so not mid summer heat, windows open as much as we could due to security locks and a fan was supplied in room already so I’m guessing it’s a regular problem room 403 we stayed in, because of this I’d worry booking again, we got in at 2am and left at 6;30am as couldn’t take it, we went for a few drinks and would have loved a lay in with no children so was disappointed but otherwise can not complain, good sized room, clean, kettle with tea and coffee supplied with spares down stairs by reception.

We stayed here at short notice due to another location cancelling our reservation at the last minute (Boutique Nights - don't book it). As a result this was not our preferred location or hotel type. That said, the hotel is right on the sea front by the pier, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. We booked a small double room as we only needed somewhere to sleep. The room was made up for one person but we were two, so we had to ask for extra towels, mugs etc, which were provided immediately upon request. We had room only so cannot comment on the breakfast or meals in general. It is a big old fashioned hotel which from our one night there caters mainly for pensioners on holiday. It offers evening entertainment and bingo.

The location is excellent and parking was easy directly in front of the hotel The room was spotless. I was booked in by Rocky who couldn’t have been more helpful and who assisted me in bringing up my cases . Nothing was too much trouble for him - excellent service . Sadly I left before breakfast was served so cannot comment on the food.

Eastbourne has many facilities for short or a long stay.
Eastbourne has many facilities for short or a long stay. A pier, terraced walks along the front, pebbly beach, many bars and restaurants. The town is split into quarters such as artistic etc. If you take the time lots of nice places tucked away from tge centre. It has a modern shopping centre, very good transport both bus and rail. A Marina on the outskirts and close to exceptional countryside that is easy accessible.

Nice shopping centre, with some great shops eating places, shop staff were very cheerful and friendly ,great restaurants, bars ,coffee shops, good transport, good taxi service, but not to impress with the pier, but that my opinion, some nice stalls along the sea front, selling bits and pieces, street food, worth a walk along, the Windsor Tavern is a great little bar with a great atmosphere, very reasonable price beers and shorts, well worth a visit if in the area, there is and great Indian restaurant 2 to 3 minutes walk from the bar, there is also a nice Thai restaurant near the restaurant, which I would highly recommend, good food great service and reasonable price,

The pier is a nice place to visit on a sunny day, as the walk around it is nice. The are many restaurants and cafes to choose from to eat and drink. The town centre has many high street named shops as well as a cinema to catch your favourite film.

I love Eastbourne.
I love Eastbourne. The big long beach that you can walk all the way. Love sovereign Harbour, both have great resturants. Good shopping in Eastbourne town. We had a lovely curry near old town and great food in the crown and Anchor. Not forgeting the Bandstand where we saw a fantastic Motown band. Always good acts on there and two bars.!. Everyone had a great time dancing.
Excellent location both in relation to the seafront and the town centre. Good proximity to transport links if you don't have a car and want to travel further afield. The room was very comfortable and had everything needed for a self-catering stay if that's what you prefer. Nice, large, firm double bed and great natural light, overlooking a pleasant green space behind the hotel. We did manage to set the fire alarm off whilst toasting waffles (well, burning them, actually), so it was good to see everything worked!
Room was a small double with sea view - excellent.
Hotel well laid out with many comfortable common areas for relaxing.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel - both meals were excellent, good varied menu for dinner, food well prepared and cooked, generous portion sizes, excellent service, superb staff
We attended an event at the Congress Theatre, hence our visit. The hotel is superbly located for the two main Eastbourne theatres, the Towner Gallery, Eastbourne Tennis week and the sea front
Hashem took me to my room and showed me where I needed to go for breakfast. Breakfast was prepared by Nasser and was delicious. My room was comfortable, warm, (freezing and snow outside). A lovely location and a very pretty hotel (listed building) and gardens. I found the hotel and staff lovely, nothing was too much trouble. If I have to travel to the area again, I would definitely stay there as it was much more comfortable than the larger chain hotels.
what a great hotel, with fantastic views of the seafront and the pier. such easy access to all amenities. The included full English breakfast was absolutely delicious. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that actually had an adequate amount of milk for the tea that was provided in the room. They did have coffee too. The bed was really comfortable, the water was hot, and the owners were very friendly.
A wonderful guest house just 50 yards from the seafront. Excellent value for money including a good breakfast. Would recommend the Leopold room (top floor, 4 sets of stairs to go up) king superior room, nice, spacious and very clean. It's not a 4/5 star hotel, but a great value for money base for a few nights in Eastbourne. Super friendly staff.
This is a great little hotel, situated on one of Eastbourne's seafront squares. Ran by a fantastic team who go out of their way to make sure that your stay is a great experience. Struggling like everyone, they have somehow managed to keep prices low, whilst refusing to sacrifice their ethos.
The location is in the lovely ‘meads’ area of Eastbourne, near the downs on the western side of town. Very close to the seafront and also close to shops and cafes. Lovely homely feel. All mod cons. Hidden away, so very secluded. Feels like a “secret hideaway” for couples.
The View is a modern hotel at the seafront. It has all the amenities that you would expect to find in a hotel of this category and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent and - for a change - was served in spacious dining area.
The room was lovely and clean, the only problem was the water supply to the shower and hand basin was very poor. The Hotel is located close to the Seafront and was very convenient for our Day at Devonshire Park LTA Tennis Tournament in Eastbourne. Thank you
Friendly responsive staff took really good care of us, really went the extra mile to help. Excellent breakfasts, great location on the beach and easy walk to local attractions/restaurants. Relaxed vibe at the hotel, not over faced with rules, no hassles.
more modern than most seafront hotels in Eastbourne
A parking pass is available from reception at a small cost with spaces along the seafront.
Comfortable room with good aircon and nice toiletries
Breakfast was plentiful and served with a smile.

Regents Wi Fi had a good strong signal
Good Mattress
Very close to the beach.
Late night Tesco's and Coffee shops near by.
Decent Price
Could not fault this
Hotel, nothing was too much trouble, staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfasts and bar meals, were perfect, would definitely stay again
Lovely apartment, spacious and tastefully decorated. The location is great, in a quiet area of Eastbourne but close to the seafront, local shops and two nice pubs.
Have stayed in a few seafront hotels in Eastbourne. Can honestly say this was my favourite.
