The weather wasn't good to us, poured with rain for 4 days, but we did a lot of sightseeing aswell. There was a great place to eat for breakfast which was one block over from the apartment and a 5min walk called Bucks Cafe. The owners were lovely and the food soooo good! The Imperial Hotel in Clifton, we went there for lunch, very impressive. Went down to Kiama, very pretty coastal town and viewed an amazing blow hole . Trains were easy to catch. We hired a car, which was really good, but we caught a train easy enough back to Sydney CBD. It would have been lovely to walk the beaches, but the weather didn't permit it. A few good Op shops in the area if you are into that, aswell.

Area I stayed in was OK.
Area I stayed in was OK. Couldn't find a big restaurant / bar area. Scenic views included a great view of chemical plant and refinery. Look in estate agent windows and could not see why people are paying $4M to be that close to them. Steamers nice, but don't pay their prices for a steak. Marble&grain 300m away-better quality&price.

We were there for a hockey tournament so we didn't get to see much of Wollongong. Also there was an extreme weather event while we were there so we couldn't get down to the waterfront in the time we had available between games.

Yes, I would recommend Wollongong for the experience: the streets are filled with homeless persons at night and roaring with street cars. Nonetheless, I was not subjected to any acts of violence or intimidation. It appears that everyone is minding their own business. Skydiving with a nearby company provided me with an unforgettable experience amidst the beautiful coastline of Wollongong and its beaches. The beaches in Wollongong are immaculate and an excellent location to swim. Although the food is ordinary, it is well worth the time to dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants. For visitors in their 20s, Friday and Saturday night seem to have a pretty good nightlife. If you find yourself near Fever Night Club, chances are that you will have people approach your for drugs or of purchasing of drugs. Just say 'no' and they will leave you alone. They are generally polite about it.

Wollongong has a large range of things to do from skydiving onto North Beach, surfing and swimming at the beach, fishing and everything you want to do at the beach. There is a large shopping plaza in the heart of Wollongong. You can also jump on the freeway south to Kiama, Gerringong, Berry and be there within half an hour. Beautiful spots to visit and great restaurants.
Great location close to beach with easy walking access. Cabin was very well fitted out for our stay with enough cooking equipment to match the clean good kitchen provide. Overall the cabin was light, very clean and heating suitable for the stay. I would recommend both the cabins and park for anybody staying in Wollongong. It was a short drive to downtown and there was a selection of restaurants open late.
Great staff, great facilities, great location. Beach is so close, pool is fantastic, mini-golf awesome, Towradgi Beach Hotel across the road is a must. Supermarkets 500m away. Free vouchers for the kids on check in is a great touch. Our 4th visit here, we will stay here every time we come to Wollongong. 10/10
Friendly helpful staff. Nice clean comfortable apartment. Laundry facilities free with provision of laundry detergent. Close walk to the beach and 1 hr walk to Wollongong harbour along the beach. Resturant behind the hotel. Free car parking. I would revisit.
Very clean great high room and very nice staff!
Got a free drink voucher. We have been travelling from Canada for 1 month and this hotel had bottled water a good size milk in the fridge.
Value for money, great hot shower definitely recommend this place for a great stay.
I must say that Wollongong Serviced Apartments are great. They are located only two blocks from the main shopping street and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is big enough for two and you can park your car in the basement.
beautiful! so warm and welcoming, it wasn’t just accomodation you were made to feel right at home. was a perfect getaway for me, kids and our dog. very pet friendly, clean and great location. can’t wait to go back 💞
Secure parking, large enough for our 4wd. Walking distance to shops, restaurants & the beach. Comfortable bed. Quiet location & quiet complex of apartments. Very helpful owner. Bin emptied every day. Large bathroom.
Hotel was only 1hr drive from Sydney, and only a 5 min walk to shopping center and beach. Liked having a larger fridge in the room instead of the usual bar fridge. The beaches are clean and patrolled.
Excellent location, directly opposite Wollongong Boat Harbour and a short walk to North Wollongong Beach.
Great coffee shop under hotel.
Very clean rooms and friendly staff.
A very large spacious room. Great view of the ocean. A walk in shower finally. PERFECT!
