Anne's recommendations for dinner were spot-on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The location itself is nothing short of magical, offering breathtaking views, serene countryside surroundings, and a symphony of nature's sounds. It was a perfect weekend escape that left us rejuvenated and grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking a truly special retreat.

Location excellent. Bus stops for getting to and from town very close. Lovely place to stay. Spacious, clean and cosy. We had asked for a quiet apartment (No 5) which it was. The property was exceptional , extremely clean and modern . The apartment had been furnished and decorated by the owners with extremely good taste and it showed throughout the building. We were greeted on arrival by one of the owners who was probably one of the friendliest hosts we have ever met. He showed us round and also explained how to get to the beach and town. The apartment could not be located in a better place and everything was nearby but it also felt like a quiet spot and there was plenty of parking on the street no matter what time you arrived. The apartment was small but very comfortable. We particularly liked the fact that it had a full (if compact) kitchen. The garden was lovely, and it was really close to a small cove that was less full of people than the main beach. Perfect for swimming late in the evening. Steve and Anne were great hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect. A very nice area and an easy walk to the sea, town, Torre Abbey (best tourist attraction in Torquay) and train station. The hosts were welcoming. The breakfast was superb, plentiful and tasty. For a single room it was spacious with even room for an armchair and kettle facilities. Cleanliness was exceptional here.
