The hotel is iconic and it has retained its character and charm. The views are amazing from the balcony. The bathrooms have been remodelled and are lovely. The hotel is a little dated in places and could do with a bit of an upgrade, for example the pool area - but I do appreciate it is expensive and hotels are still recovering from after the pandemic so I am sure it will get there over time.

Centrally located and walking distance to the Main Street shopping area and restaurants, free parking on the street in front of the hotel and very friendly Staff. Perhaps the vintage un-renovated hotel kept the cost reasonable for a 3-star hotel.

The apartment was clean, tidy and warm. The two separate bedrooms were well fitted out and the location was in the heart of main street close to some excellent cafes.

Perfect. Not sure why one reviewer was negative. For us it was the a great place to stay . Would have been nice to be able to use the rooftop garden. My son was told it was for residents only. Not a an issue as the balcony area has ample space with access from both the lounge and the main bedroom. It even had a wasing machine it you require.
