Caraíva is a tiny paradise in Bahia, for who like the nature will love Caraíva. The people here are lovely and the restaurants are amazing, for a good price. And the best thing that I recommend, Caraíva´s forró is the best one in the district of Porto Seguro!

Such a fun and quaint town!
Such a fun and quaint town! We loved how chill everyone was, walking around the sand covered streets in their beachwear. I think everyone should visit this town sometime in their life :) We saw Monkeys too!ChristieUnited States

Caraíva is small but the location couldn't be better. The pousada is very well kept, the garden is beautiful. There's also a very nice common area. The host is super nice and attentive, and made a real difference for us in making the experience as pleasant as one can expect. Could not recommend better! The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit, tapiocas and freshly baked delicious cakes. I will come back!

There's a mini-market right next to the hotel. Breakfast is perfect, delicious - a good variety of foods is available (tapiocas, breads, scrambled eggs, omelets, fresh juices, etc). The family behind it, the staff, the beach all fantastic. Very good food, cocktails and service. Music was insane! DJ and live singing. Visit after you have settled a bit and adjusted to the Bahian vibe! Would love to tweak the place a little to barefoot chic luxury.
